Hello Fellow Campers:
I’d like to give a huge “thank you” to all who attended, participated and braved the cold and windy conditions at the first county horse camp.
I’d also like to thank Harry Hughes for the use of their grounds and facilities, Quinton Mulligan for his very informational and expert presentation on equine dentistry and to all the advisors and parents who help with the camp games, poker run, scavenger hunt and camp dinner. Without all this team work the camp would not have been a great experience for us all.
Our camp guests from the Lucas County 4-H Extension office were Cynthia Toler, Jackie Bailey and her grandson Marquis. They visited camp Saturday afternoon, took some photos, and Marquis got his first horseback ride.
Gathering from the comments and conversations during camp everyone that attended had a great time and a lot of fun.
We would like to continue the horse camp experience again next year and would like some input from the camp participants and their families regarding changes, improvements and ideas for next year’s camp. Your comments are most welcome.
Please take the time to fill out the survey and return it to the Lucas County Extension office as soon as possible so we can get started planning next year’s camp.
We are looking forward to Horse Camp 2007.

2007 Camp Fees - For all Lucas County 4H Youth Members ages 5 thru 19
Check off what will apply to your family
Camp fees cover: grounds fees, camp insurance, flyers, mailing costs, t-shirts, evening dinner food costs, paper products, all day coffee and hot cocoa, camp prizes and awards.
All Campers must have an advisor/parent Supervision on the grounds at all times.
Come for the weekend or just come for a day. Camping is optional – Horses are optional.
Overnight Camping is Permitted on Grounds – No Electrical Hook-ups. – No Food Available on Grounds.
Advisors & Parents attending are at no cost.
